• Graduated from Westwood High School in Austin, Texas in 1994
• BSc in Computer Science from Texas Tech University in 2001
• BSc in Mathematics from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin in 2005
• Certified to teach mathematics, computer science, and technology applications in grades 8-12 in Texas
• Substitute teacher in Ector County ISD
• Graduate student at UTPB in Education Leadership
