Metallica's 2008 Tour is mostly a European tour, with a few appearances in the United States. Metallica have recently announced that they will be playing a number of songs from their forthcoming Untitled ninth studio release on the tour. Throughout this tour, Metallica will headline some of Europe's and the United States' major music festivals, including the Reading and Leeds Festivals in England and Ozzfest in Dallas, respectively.
