Mese is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Sondrio in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 90 km north of Milan and about 40 km northwest of Sondrio. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,652 and an area of 4.2 km².[1]
Mese borders the following municipalities: Chiavenna, Gordona, Menarola, Prata Camportaccio, San Giacomo Filippo.
