[edit] Request details

I'm a neutral party who wants to resolve this dispute peacefully, without having it escalate into a messy edit-war.

[edit] Who are the involved parties?

[edit] What's going on?

The debate hasn't reached edit-war status yet (perhaps due to the lack of response from one side), but it seems like a battle between consensus/status quo and a (seemingly, at least) well-supported, radical revision. Essentially, IP user 24.77.214.137 declares The History Channel as misleadingly religiously motivated, obsessed with Hitler, and historically inaccurate. He or she has several sources to support such claims. Nevertheless, it's slightly bothersome that he or she is insistent on making these changes, especially in light of reverts (based on NPOV violation) by several other users.

[edit] What would you like to change about that?

I'd like to have a few more eyes take a look at the article and hopefully reach some sort of compromise. There certainly are criticisms of The History Channel, and I believe it's appropriate to include them. However, the article should not comprise solely (or even mostly) of these criticisms, or else it seriously violates NPOV. Thanks!
