Media Luna is a municipality and city in the Granma Province of Cuba. It is located on the coastal region of the province, bordering the Gulf of Guacanayabo, between Niquero and Campechuela.

In 2004, the municipality of Media Luna had a population of 35,330.[2] With a total area of 376 km² (145.2 sq mi),[1] it has a population density of 94.0/km² (243.5/sq mi).
