1. There is no free visual portrayal of Medusoid Mycelium (a fictional fungus created by Lemony Snicket) in existence. Any created version would not fulfill the encyclopedic use of this image, as it would not further anyone's understanding of the fungus in question.
2. The use of this image does not decrease the opportunity for sale of the book from which it comes (The Grim Grotto) since 1) the book is not about Medusoid Mycelium, and 2) the image does not reveal any consequential knowledge as to the book's contents.
3. The use of this image contributes significantly to the article, since the section to which it belongs deals directly with the fungus portrayed in the image.
