[edit] Mini-game help
Could someone please list all or most mini-games?, as they are an important part of the game. Ideally someone who has the game guide. I think the mini-games should have their own page, as theres so many. ~~User:Gotchipet~~

- The established consensus for this article is that there will be no list of minigames, because it's listcruft. The separate article listing the minigames was deleted some time ago. If you want to include a list of minigames in this article, you'll have to show how it is encyclopaedic and establish a new consensus for it. Geoff B 04:26, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
- Watch out geoff. There's nothing inherently wrong with "listcruft", but he is correct. It was shown that the list of minigames are (or had a potential to be) non-encyclopedic. McKay 16:03, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Mario Party 8.jpg
Image:Mario Party 8.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:07, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
- I've added a Fair Use Rationale for this page. McKay 16:22, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] ^ See that?
Yeah. Three times I've had that on my talk page, so can someone just delete the image already, or at least get that fair use thing sorted out. Cipher (Talk to the hand) 12:35, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
- The fair use rationale was a transcluded from somebody's user page. I turned it into straight text instead. Hopefully that will stop confusing the bot. -- MisterHand 13:53, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] UK Release Date
I decider to be WP:BOLD and updated the infobox to show nintendo of europe POV on the releasedate, and sourced it heavily... Nintendo of europe considers the releasedate to be July 13 (retrieved July 15) (since it hit the stores on that day), and not all retailers have acted to the recall, so it is possible to see it in stores. 85.149.120.16 11:26, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
I've undone an edit that listed the previour release date that was delayed (read: there was no release on that date.) 85.149.120.16 21:17, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Where did the rest of the article go?
There used to be much more, relevent information here. Where did it go and why? Henchman 2000 18:36, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
- this is what the article looked like around the time you left. The "Playable characters" section was removed as redundant to Mario Party (series)#Playable characters (come to think of it, I'll add a link there in this article. "Boards" and "Modes" were removed as unnecessary, kinda like the minigame lists. — Malcolm (talk) 20:34, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
- I've added some content back again (e.g. a little information about the boards and their elements), in a way which does not attempt to simply list everything out. --Slordak 15:00, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Trivia
The game has some elements from Paper Mario... namely the Star Rod (which Bowser stole in Paper Mario), and the host is obviously the guy who appears at some points with trivia questions. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.61.246.149 (talk) 21:12, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Superstar Showdown
In Superstar Showdown if you die, do you have to start the Star Battle all over again or do you just start at the begining of the Showdown?--76.176.215.76 (talk) 23:12, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
You start at the beginning of that battle. 67.171.162.40 (talk) 23:47, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
