I'm Gene. Gene Poole. The S is just there to differentiate from the other Gene Poole out there (damnit), but if it will ease you at all, it could stand for Sharks. Think about it.

I've been on Das Intarweb since about 1999 under the moniker of Gene Poole, mostly on USEnet (go ahead, do a google search if you feel like it), and have made some contributions to Wikipedia, anonymously because I didn't care enough. Until now, and that's mostly because reading about the Rouge Cabal got me nostalgifying, but there you are. That's me.

As soon as I've got some stuff under my belt I'll put it here and maybe even try to clean this up, however until then, I remain a clueless newb. Please be patient with me, and don't chase me off of the Wikiweb.

Also: to the guy who added the LBGT tag; I'm not gay, actually. not even a little bit. But thank you for your interest.
