Marcos García Barreno, known simply as Marcos or Marquitos (born March 21, 1987 in Sant Antoni de Portmany) is a Spanish footballer who plays in midfield for Recreativo on loan from Villarreal CF, for whom he wore shirt number 27. He became famous when he scored a goal against Real Madrid, adding another a couple of months later against FC Barcelona. Villarreal won both matches, 1-0 and 2-0 respectively, with Marcos playing the entire 90 minutes on both occasions.
