[edit] Renumbering

"Some have suggested that the highway north of Emerson Junction to Winnipeg be renumbered 29 due to the main link to I-29. Some renumbering proposals entirely delete Highway 75 by designating the portion between Emerson Junction, Emerson, and the border as Highway 29A."

Who has ever made this suggestion? I don't recall any public figures making statements about it, or any newspapers or other media outlets referring to it. "Some" is a classic weasel word if it only refers to the views of the person who wrote the above paragraph.

Similar speculation existed over at Manitoba Provincial Highway 29. After three weeks of no response over there to a call for sources, and finding no Google backup, I deleted it. Doing the same over here. This isn't the place for idle roadgeek speculation. VT hawkeyetalk to me 03:20, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
