Reply to your adoption question

Hi. Both User:Urbane and I have added replies to your question at Wikipedia talk:Adopt-a-User#Assignment, and since there was some delay between the question and the replies, I wanted to let you know so that you wouldn't miss it. I hope you find our responses helpful. --Sopoforic (talk) 05:42, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

RFA support thanks

One of my favorite places Dear Malinaccier,

Thank you for supporting in my recent RfA. Words nor pictures can express my heartfelt appreciation at the confidence the community has shown me. I am both heartened and humbled by this confidence. I will carry the lessons learned from the constructive criticism I have received with me as I edit Wikipedia, and heed those lessons. Special thanks to Pedro and Henrik as nominators. Special thanks to Rudget who wanted to. A very special thanks to Moonriddengirl for her eloquence.

Cheers, Dlohcierekim 22:46, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

Multiple listings of schools

I would strongly discourage this. Schools have each a different range of available sources and deserve individual consideration. If you multiple list then you risk a train smash. I would also suggest you should carry out a Google News check (including archives) before listing any school. TerriersFan (talk) 03:42, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for your vote on my RfA

Thank you for participating in my RfA, which passed with a vote of 41/0/1.

Please accept a slice of panettone as an expression of my gratitude. Feel free to help yourself to some chocolate zabaglione as well.

I am humbled by the trust placed in me to use the tools wisely.

Really, really bad haiku from a new admin

Setting new lows in thank-you spam:

"Fine editor, will show good judgement"[1] ... let's hope so!

So far the the Main Page is still there and I haven't yet blocked the nation of Qatar.

Please see List of middle schools in Fairfax County, Virginia

Hi, I created this article, then saw your note at one of the deletion debates for the Fairfax County middle schools in which, if I read it right, you said you might do the same thing. Please feel free to look over my work and make whatever changes you think appropriate. I'm not enthusiastic about the new list, but it seems to me a better alternative than losing all the information when the various articles are deleted. If I'd seen your note first, I'd have left it to you to create the list. Noroton (talk) 02:35, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

  • Oh, my mistake. I misread what you wrote. Sorry. Noroton (talk) 02:37, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

Admin coaching

I'm coaching User:JavaTenor right now, but it's perfectly okay with me. bibliomaniac15 03:11, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

Re:Admin Coaching

Your name is listed on Wikipedia:Admin coaching/Status as fully available, and I was wondering if you were still available, and could coach me? I would understand if you couldn't. Thanks! Malinaccier (talk) 01:50, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

Unfortunately I am already coaching a user, and I think 2 users at once would be a bit too time-consuming.
However, I see that Bibliomaniac15 has accepted, so I wish you luck! Feel free to ask either of us if you have any questions. Cheers- CattleGirl talk 09:28, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
Here's a subpage for the coaching: User:Malinaccier/Admin coaching. If you'd like, we could also communicate via e-mail, the messages of which would later be placed into the subpage. Let's begin! bibliomaniac15 20:56, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for supporting my RFA

Thanks for your support, my request for adminship passed 62/0/0 yesterday!

I want to thank Snowolf and Dincher for nominating me, those who updated the RfA tally, and everyone for their support and many kind words. I will do my best to use the new tools carefully and responsibly (and since you are reading this, I haven't yet deleted your talk page by accident!). Please let me know if there is anything I can do to be of assistance, and keep an eye out for a little green fish with a mop on the road to an even better encyclopedia.

Thanks again and take care, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 16:52, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
