[edit] party platforms?

This article should include some brief explanation of each party's policy positions (particularly for those in the current Knesset) for readers unfamiliar with them. Just a list of names tell the reader nothing. -- Kendrick7talk 20:07, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] National Bolshevik Party of Israel

Why did you remove the link to the article about the National Bolshevik Party of Israel??? --41.242.141.243 09:22, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

The article was deleted after a discussion on its lack of notability. Number 57 15:41, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
And not just notability, but the simple fact that this "party" never actually existed. A group of teenagers in red t-shirts is not a party. --Amir E. Aharoni 09:46, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Bead Artseinu

You also removed the article about Bead Artseinu. Why? --41.242.141.243 15:22, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

This article was also deleted after being prodded due to lack of notability. Number 57 15:41, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Colors

Just for information - the color scheme works as follows -

  • Right Wing - Blue,
  • Left - Red,
  • Centre - Yellow,
  • Rel. Jewish - Brown,
  • Arab-Pink/Orange,
  • Other-Green

Any suggestions for development/change is welcome. Flymeoutofhere (talk) 16:38, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

No offence, but I think it looks hideous. These aren't even necessarily the colours associated with the parties. I have reverted as such. пﮟოьεԻ 57 18:46, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
OK - I didnt think it looked great - but wanted some help in making it better. The US version of this article, for example, includes colors and I think if done right, it will be very effective. Flymeoutofhere (talk) 19:14, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
It can be ok, but only where there are only two or at most three colours. When there are too many colours it can look garish (plus several parties have the same colour, e.g. Labour and Hadash), so unfortunately this means it can't be applied to most articles on ministers, as so many different parties have held the post. пﮟოьεԻ 57 19:21, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
How about putting in the colors for the main three parties - and then doing the rest by right wing/left wing etc? Flymeoutofhere (talk) 20:01, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
I'd rather not TBH; in some cases it's difficult to say whether a party is left-wing or right wing (e.g. Shas or Gil these days), and it might be considered WP:OR to define them ourselves. пﮟოьεԻ 57 20:09, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
How about for the three main parties? Flymeoutofhere (talk) 21:28, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
I don't think it would really add much, and would look a little strange if only some rows had colouring. пﮟოьεԻ 57 21:53, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
