Should "The Pas" appear in the P's? That's where I would look.

But then should "La Broquerie" be in the B's or L's?

[edit] The Pas, or Pas, The

Good question, and one that could be argued until the moose come home. I'd figgure on using the provincial phonebook as a guide, where it appears as "The Pas", just before "Thompson" and just after "Tadoule Lake" Weaponofmassinstruction 23:59, 8 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Oh goodness, the phone book is the last thing in the world to emulate for alphabetical ordering. They put De Abreu before Deacon, but mix the Delucas and the De Lucas in after Delta.
But the Canadian Oxford has it in the T's, so that would be the right place. I guess "pas" without the "the" isn't a place name. Michael Z. 2007-07-13 02:21 Z
