Mayumi Hashimoto (Kana Ueda/Laura Bailey), a junior high school student, is framed for embezzling class money and going out with a salaryman by her envious classmate, Aya Kuroda (Tomoko Kawakami/Luci Christian). 
2 "The Possessed Girl"
"Mi Irareta Shōjo" (魅入られた少女)

Ryōko Takamura (Ai Shimizu/Monica Rial) is being stalked, so she and her family seek the aid of investigator Kōichirō Kisaragi (Kazuya Ichijo/Sean Hennigan) in tracking down and arresting the stalker, not knowing that he is the stalker. Ryōko then sends him to hell. 
3 "Tarnished Mound"
"Yogoreta Maundo" (汚れたマウンド)

Daisuke Iwashita (Wataru Hatano/Kevin M. Connolly), seeks revenge for his friend and teammate Kouichi Muroi (Ryou Naito/Jaime Rivera) after the latter dies of injuries inflicted by their team's ace baseball player, Mamoru Hanakasa (Noriaki Sugiyama/Justin Cook), who also blamed Muroi's death on Daisuke (even though he was innocent).

Junko Kanno (Satomi Arai/Leah Clark) takes her sick dog to veterinarian Yoshiyuki Honjō (Takehito Koyasu/Vic Mignogna) for treatment, but her dog dies anyway. She later on finds out through the veterinarian's assistant, Sekimoto (Ryoka Yuzuki/Tiffany Grant), that Honjō had not bothered to treat her dog at all. 
5 "The Woman in the Tall Tower"
"Takai Tō no Shōjo" (高い塔の女)

Riho Kaifu (Michiko Neya/Lydia MacKay), the CEO of a computer company, coerces a junior high school student and computer expert named Misato Tamura (Ayako Kawasumi/Didi Duron) into working for her as a hacker, even going as far as to order Tamura to hack the Hell Correspondence website. 
6 "Early Afternoon Window"
"Hirusagari no Mado" (昼下がりの窓)

Keiko Yasuda (Miki Itou/Gwendolyn Lau) witnesses her neighbor, Namiko Todaka (Emi Shinohara/Wendy Powell), committing adultery while walking past Todaka's house one afternoon. Knowing this, Namiko constantly harasses Keiko so that the latter would keep what she saw to herself. Namiko also encourages her daughter, Yuria (Megumi Nasu/Stephanie Sheh), to bully Haruka (Chiwa Saitō/Kelley Johnson), Keiko's daughter, at school. Haruka seeks revenge against Namiko after watching her mother constantly suffer and after having suffered under Yuria's bullying as well. 
7 "Cracked Mask"
"Hibiwareta Kamen" (ひびわれた仮面)

Ayaka Kurenai (Satsuki Yukino/Caitlin Glass), a rising theater actress, schemes against fellow actress Kaoruko Kurushima (Marina Inoue/Kim Whalen) after the latter outshines her in their theater company. After having thugs force Kurushima to drink a tonic that ruins her voice, Midori Kurenai (Kumiko Takizawa/Sheridan Wright), Ayaka's adopted mother and the owner of their theatrical company, cancels the show. Enraged by Midori's bias toward Kurushima, Ayaka attempts to send Midori to hell, only to find that the straw doll given to her had disappeared because Kurushima already requested that she (Ayaka) be sent to hell. 
8 "Silent Friendship"
"Seijaku no Majiwari" (静寂の交わり)

Chiaki Tanuma (Yuki Matsuoka/Elise Baughman) seeks revenge against Gorō Ishizu (Show Hayami/Charles Baker) after she witnesses the latter shove her best friend (Ishizu's girlfriend) off a building. This episode marks the debut of Tsugumi (Nana Mizuki/Luci Christian) and Hajime (Yuji Ueda/John Burgmeier), the Shibatas. 
9 "Sweet Trap"
"Amai Wana" (静寂の交わり) 
2005-11-29
Yuka Kasuga (Rina Satō/Trina Nishimura) and her sister, Hiromi (Misa Kobayashi/Jessica Turner) fulfill their dream of opening a bakeshop, and allow their father's friend, Shinya Morizaki (Kouji Ishii/Doug Burks), to taste one of their father's unique creations. Yuka eventually uses the Hell Correspondence to send Morizaki to hell after the latter steals their recipe and claims it as his own, causing the Kasugas' bakeshop to go bankrupt, not to mention humiliating themselves on national TV. 
10 "Friends"
"Tomodachi" (トモダチ)

Minami Shibuya (Sawa Ishige/Brittney Karbowski) intends Shiori Akasaka (Megumi Toyoguchi/Amber Cotton) after the latter ignores her despite the fact that they are supposed to be friends. The two eventually become friends again, and Shibuya abandons her intention to send Akasaka to hell. Unfortunately, Akasaka is still sent to hell after the string of the straw doll is accidentally pulled while she was trying to make Shibuya pull it. 
11 "Broken Threads"
"Chigireta Ito" (千切れた糸) 
2005-12-13
Masaya Kataoka (Daisuke Ono/Robert McCollum) seeks revenge against this journalist named Takashi Inagaki (Wataru Takagi/Chuck Huber) who framed him and his late father. Somehow Hajime Shibata (Yuji Ueda/John Burgmeier) is involved because Inagaki is his former boss. 
12 "Spilled Bits"
"Koboreta Kakeratachi" (零れたカケラ達)

Akane Sawai (Rie Tanaka/Colleen Clinkenbeard) stops going to school due to emotional problems; locking herself up in her room and only opened up to her textmate whom she met on the internet. Her teacher, Yoshiki Fukasawa (Susumu Chiba/Chris Cason), constantly visits her to check on her and tries to convince her to go to school. Sawai gets irritated by this, and is convinced by her textmate to send Fukasawa to hell. Sawai ("Anemone" when online) eventually finds out that her textmate ("Cheppo") is Fukasawa, but as they finally come to an understanding, Fukasawa convinces Sawai to send him to hell. 
13 "Purgatory Girl"
"Rengoku Shōjo" (煉獄少女)

Ai Enma isn't just a recent phenomenon, but one occurring for hundreds of years. This episode showed how to access the Hell Correspondence through the classified ads. A man named Fukumoto (Shiro Saito/Jerry Russell) sent a man named Okawachi to Hell using the method...and Hajime Shibata saw him die after fifty or so years. 
14 "Beyond the Dead End"
"Fukurokōji no Mukō" (袋小路の向こう)

Saki Kirino (Yuu Kobayashi/Cherami Leigh) seeks revenge for the death of her father because of a secret between him and her primary suspect, Mayor Ryouzo Kusunoki (Masashi Hirose/Bill Jenkins). Hajime Shibata managed to make him apologize, but it was too late. 
15 "Island Woman"
"Shima no Onna" (島の女)

Mina Minato (Masumi Asano/Jamie Marchi) sends her aunt, Fujie Minato (Akemi Okamura/Christine Auten), to hell after finding out that the latter had killed her mother just to prevent her from moving away and after she was nearly assaulted by Fujie as well. Mina's boyfriend, a marine biologist named Yuji Numata (Hiro Shimono/Chris Burnett), was also assaulted by Fujie. 
16 "A Night Among Travelling Entertainers"
"Tabigeinin no Yoru" (旅芸人の夜)

Yumi (Asuka Tanii/Leah Clark) and her twin, Yuki (Akiko Yajima/Kate Oxley), both work as circus performers. However, Yuki is favored over Yumi, and while the former is pampered, the latter is constantly abused verbally and physically. Because of this, Yumi eventually sends her twin to hell. 
17 "Glass Scenery"
"Garasu no Fūken" (硝子ノ風景)

The Shibatas were caught in a fog...and found themselves marooned in an abandoned sanitarium, where they found the ghost of a vengeful girl named Nina (Omi Minami/Alison Viktorin). 
18 "Bound Girl"
"Shibarareta Shōjo" (縛られた少女)

Miki Kawakami (Noriko Shitaya/Carrie Savage) finds herself and her dogs enslaved by an evil rich woman named Meiko Shimono (Kujira/Pam Dougherty) because her two collies bit her.What urged Miki to call Ai Enma's attention is when Meiko killed her dogs (one of them had puppies in captivity--she poisoned the mother and drowned the puppies).It is also revealed Shimono killed her own parents as she wanted their inheritence. 
19 "Bride Doll"
"Hanayoume Ningyō" (花嫁人形)

An orphan named Inori Ujie (Fumiko Orikasa/Caitlin Glass) was picked by her orphanage's main benefactor, a doll maker named Kyogetsu Inori (Miyuki Ichijou/Linda Leonard) to be her son's bride...but with the catch that she would literally act like a doll. She'll do nothing, not even serve her husband's breakfast. She had to do it...for the sake of the others in the orphanage. Kyogetsu may have been sent to Hell by Inori, but her husband is no different from his mother... 
20 "Hell Boy vs. Hell Girl"
"Jigoku Shōjo tai Jigoku Shōnen" (地獄少女 対 地獄少年)

A TV psychic named Gil de Ronfell/L'Enfer (Jun Fukuyama/Greg Ayres), who calls himself the Hell Boy, challenged Ai Enma, the Hell Girl (Mamiko Noto/Brina Palencia), to a duel. It proved to be a fatal mistake. Especially when the guy he displaced, Hiroshi "Esper" Watanabe (Shinichiro Miki/Jeremy Inman), is angry with him. 
21 "The Kind Neighbour"
"Yasashii Rinjin" (優しい隣人)

Yūko Murai (Saeko Chiba/Mary Morgan) and her father (Issei Futamata/John Gremillion) move to a farm to take a break from urban life. Ryōsuke Sekine (Ryunosuke Obayashi/John Swasey), their neighbor, helps them out with the work on the farm. The Murais' crops are eventually overrun by pests, and Yūko's father eventually dies because of alcoholism. Yūko eventually finds out that Sekine had sabotaged their crops, and wants to send him to hell, but is convinced otherwise by Hajime Shibata. 
22 "Rain of Remorse"
"Kaikon no Ame" (悔恨の雨)

Goro Suetsugu (Atsushi Imaruoka/Christopher Sabat), a heartbroken husband whose wife Noriko Hayashi (Shizuka Ito/Kathleen Hamm) is cheating on him, calls on Ai for help and sends his wife to hell. Hajime Shibata attempted to stop him but failed, and ended up telling Goro about a similar experience that he had with his wife, Ayumi. 
23 "The Light of the Hospital Ward"
"Byōtō no Hikari" (病棟の光)

A sweet nurse named Kanako Sakuragi (Miyuki Sawashiro/Larissa Wolcott) was sent to hell by an unknown drug addict. Hajime Shibata pointed to the husband (Takashi Nagasako/Ray Gestaut) of a former female patient, but the trail went cold because his suspect is computer-illiterate. 
24 "Home in the Twilight"
"Yūgure no Sato" (夕暮れの里) 
2006-03-21
The Shibatas are still on the trail of The Hell Girl, and after finding out that they are related to Sentaro Shibata (Toshiyuki Toyonaga/Jason Liebrecht), they are confronted by the Ai Enma. 
25 "Hell Girl"
"Jigoku Shōjo" (地獄少女)

This episode reveals the sad story of Enma's Ai past. She was buried by her only cousin and friend, Sentarou Shibata. 
26 "The Ephemeral"
"Karinui" (かりぬい)

Ai Enma urges Tsugumi Shibata (Mizuki Nana/Luci Christian) to send her father Hajime (Yuji Ueda/John Burgmeier) to Hell, using the case of her late mother Ayumi (Hitomi Nabatame/Colleen Clinkenbeard).
