Liberty Radio

Liberty Radio is an International Radio station which is based in Finsbury Park, London. They broadcast on Sky 0186, Eurobird: 0186, Astra: 2B, Frequency 12.402 27500 FEC 2/3 and on www.libertyradio.co.uk. The station is also known for having the widest music variety in the U.K. It's target audience is 15+ with a survey audience issued showing 45'000 listeners.

Liberty replaced Viva 963 c.1996.
At one point the station was owned by Harrods owner, and chairman of Fulham Football Club, Mohammed Al Fayed, and was for a time covering commentaries of Fulham's games home and away therefore introducing football to an otherwise oblivious audience.
Liberty Radio now broadcasts via satellite on: Sky 0186, Eurobird: 0186, Astra: 2B, Frequency 12.402 verticle SR, 27500 FEC 2/3 and on www.libertyradio.co.uk. It is said to be more interactive than than most stations with the development of a high speed web cam and chat facility on the web site.

The transmitter for the 963kHz frequency was in Lea Bridge Road, Leyton, London.
The transmitter for the 972kHz frequency was at Glade Lane, in Southall, Middlesex.
