[edit] Wikipedia:WikiProject Ecuador
Hi Lese! I just wanted to invite you to help me in the new WikiProject I began yesterday. Im a Puerto Rican but I love all my fellow Hispanics so I dedicated this project to Ecuador. However, you know more about Ecuatorian topics than I do.
I also wanted to invite you to join Wikipedia:WikiProject Argentina, Wikipedia:WikiProject Dominican Republic, Wikipedia:WikiProject La Raza, Wikipedia:WikiProject Cuba, Wikipedia:WikiProject Mexico, Wikipedia:WikiProject Colombia and the one from my country, Wikipedia:WikiProject Puerto Rico. I believe that all Hispanics can unite more by learnong about our culture as a whole, and we Wikipedia writers can set the example.
Thanks and God bless you! Sincerely yours, Antonio Guayaquil Martin
[edit] Association
Dear Lese: Hi. I wanted to ask you about a possible Hispanic wikipedians association here on the English wikipedia. The purpose would be to trade assignments with members of other Hispanic countries, so that they would write about a topic pertaining to our country while we write about a topic pertaining to theirs. Like a trade. We would benefit a lot by learning about our history as a whole and having other Latinos learn about our own countries at the same time.
That way also, we would promote unity between our paises hermanos. We could become an example to Hispanics around the world. Unfortunately, some Hispanics do believe we are not brothers, and we can begin with our example to prove them wrong.
What do you think, would you be interested in joining such an association?
Thanks and God bless you!
Your hermano in raza, Antonio the Ant Martin
[edit] License tagging for Image:Loja map 1769.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Loja map 1769.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 09:07, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
