Please see the To do list for our current activities and wanted articles. Remember to be bold! How can you help us:

  • List of basic Ecuador topics serves as a table of contents for Ecuadorian topics on Wikipedia. The redlinks in the list are helpful to users in two ways: first, along with the blue links, they show Wikipedia's coverage of the subject (and may save readers from typing terms into the search box for nothing); second, the redlinks provide a to-do list of articles needed for the subject. WikiProject Ecuador will work to create the redlinked articles as well as further develop the list. Library of Congress Country Studies/Ecuador provides a good structured outline about Ecuador.
  • Create new articles. Possible approaches include:
    • Start with a list of mostly red links, and write at least short stubs for each item.
    • Fill in some important field, i.e: actors, historical buildings, national parks, animals.
    • Grab material from other Wikipedias. The Spanish WP is an obvious choice, but also try the very large German WP if you understand German.
    • If you create a new article, please add it to the respective category in the To do list.
  • Edit other articles. Possible approaches include:
  • Advertise the project. Use {{WikiProject Ecuador}} on talk pages to show that articles are related to this project.
  • Maintain our WikiPortal.
