- You shouldn't twist the facts. I left the faculty links but removed the departments and schools.
- The facts are, 95% of "Academic Organization" are not on the page because you don't want them there.Carl
- This is already explained in your discussion page. You just don't get it do you?
- Obviously not...but I have more important things to do. Sorry!!Carl
- I'm sorry you are so stubborn.

Changed "Lakehead University is situated at the head of Lake Superior in Thunder Bay, Ontario, is amongst the largest university in Northwestern Ontario." to "Lakehead University is situated at the head of Lake Superior in Thunder Bay, Ontario. It is the largest university in Northwestern Ontario." This will also have to be worked on as Lakehead and Algoma are the only schools in the area. -SeanL.
- Hah, not even. Algoma's in Northeastern Ontario. Bearcat 07:41, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Campus Building List?
It sounds like university propaganda, not for an encyclopedia. When I have time, I most likely get rid of all that bloat and just make it a simple list of campus buildings. I doubt that most readers care when the men's residence hall was built. Gohiking 20:39, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
- It is more than just the On Campus section, the Facts and Figures section is also bloted and unencyclopedic. I agree, it sounds like a lot of propaganda. The article isn't meant to be an advertisement.Kratoz 21:38, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
Campus building list info: "the hangar" was paid for by student union funds and, in a poll on their website, the name with the highest number of votes was "optimus prime". The student union board of directors, under pressure from the administration no doubt, decided that they would ignore the wishes of the owners of the building and name it "the Hangar"
Program info:
Dr. William Wilson is currentlyengaged in some ground breaking conservaiton work in china which is worthy of mention on the page

- The whole article makes the university sound top notch. It is not. By academic ranking, no only in Macleans, it has to be one of the worst universities in Ontario. Just because it won a few competitions doesn't mean its a superior institution. It needs to be revamped. Maybe it could talk about the overall scope of the schools, not just list a select few competitions that it has won...--74.98.113.160 18:12, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Photos Wanted
This article is in need of photos with real people, and photos that give readers a good perspective of the campus landscape. If anyone can donate such photos that can be released into the public domain, it would help the presentation greatly. Nganga2 22:06, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Campus photo

[edit] Spencer Rowe
Reference to Mr. Spencer Rowe is being removed from the Lakehead University Article due to lack of verifiable details. Nganga2 (talk) 22:07, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Wireless Controversy
I updated the section about the wireless internet in the student run on-campus pub (The Outpost). They have had wi-fi since early 2007. Malachi is survivin (talk) 04:25, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
