Allen F. Labay Middle School is a Middle School located in unincorporated Harris County, Texas.

The school, which serves grades 6 through 8, is part of the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District. Labay is located in the Copperfield Development.

The building was the home of Langham Creek High School for one year while the high school was being built in 1984. The school was called Labay Junior High until Cy Fair ISD renamed all of its junior highs to middle schools.

[edit] Academic Recognition and Athletics

Labay was named a National Blue Ribbon School three times (88-89, 92-93, 97-98). [1]

Labay Middle School also provides an excellent athletics program with sports including football, basketball, track, volleyball,and soccer.

The football record for the 7th Grade "A" team in 2008 was perfect, as they finished the season with a perfect record of 8-0, making them the district champs.

During the track season, Labay placed 3rd behind Goodson Middle School, (1st), and Aragon Middle School, (2nd).
