[edit] Song information
"La Pared" also has an acoustic version, in which the only instrument used is a piano. This version is included in the album Fijación Oral Vol. 1 as a bonus track. Shakira chose to perform this version at the 2006 Latin Grammy Awards and on the Oral Fixation Tour. Since the music video is a live performance of the song on the tour, the acoustic version is the one featured in it.
[edit] Music video
The music video for "La Pared" shows a live performance of the song accompanied by a piano from a concert performed by Shakira at Palacio de los Deportes, Mexico City, Mexico and was co-directed by Shakira and Catalan visual artist Jaume de Laiguana. Shakira sits on a stool beside the piano as the sold out Mexican crowd waves their hands back and forth and holds up lit lighters. This video can be seen on Oral Fixation Tour.
