Could someone tell me how Marvel owns Kulan Gath but Dynamite is using him? Thanos6 16:56, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

It's been confirmed that Marvel is not the owner of Kulan Gath, based on this link from the writers of the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe. He comes under the property of licensed characters, and thus can't be used in future Marvel stories without permission or with special arrangement.

It's still unclear if Kulan Gath is owned by Conan Properties or Red Sonja LLC. I suspect it's owned by the former and under license for use by the latter.
