Norwood Cycling Club
A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Norwood Cycling Club, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 22:15, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
Virginia Radio Stations
Thanks for adding the VA Template to the talk pages. I am going to go through and put the WP:WPRS and WP:VIRGINIA templates together in one of those drop down banner things, so the talk pages don't look so cluttered and will add the VA Template to the rest of the radio station pages that need it.
Again, many thanks for your help :) Take Care....NeutralHomer T:C 19:07, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
- Not a problem, glad I can help. :) Take Care....NeutralHomer T:C 21:50, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
Michael Pelster
Hi - you speedy deleted Michael Pelster this evening and it was quickly recreated by the original author (I was involved in a discussion with him/her in the original about the subject's non-notability). Another editor has since added a speedy delete tag for the same reason as the original (A7 - notability). Would I be right in thinking this needs to go to WP:AFD or can it be re-speedy-deleted? --kateshortforbob 23:32, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
WSUV-LP
Sorry about my mistake on the WPV scale. That is what I get sometimes for copying from one page to another. I make a mistake, don't catch it, and it gets copied to all the others. I will check the rest and make sure I didn't make the same mistake elsewhere as well. My apologizes....NeutralHomer T:C 02:48, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks :) I will probably tonight, add the WPV templates (in the drop down banners) to the TV stations in Virginia as well. I will will leave the classification blank and I will leave that up to you and others who know more about the classification rules and what to classify them as.
- Please let me know if you all need further help with radio and TV stations or with newspaper articles or any other form of media in Virginia, I am glad to help. Take Care....NeutralHomer T:C 03:03, 9 August 2007 (UTC)

- Okie Dokie:) Also, I dropped the class of Stephens City, Virginia down from "B" to "Start" because we are having problems with a permission thing and about 43,000 words had to be removed. So, for now, I think knocking it down is cool while we work all this out. Take care...NeutralHomer T:C 03:16, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
Talk: Michael Vick
Regarding the past hour, I issued a second warning (to yours) then reverted the vandalism twice more. I placed a 31 hour block. Mark in Historic Triangle 17:17, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

- I agree. There have been periodic hits, as well as users trying to POV the content; I have been watching this one and the related articles as closely as I can, and trying hard to maintain WP integrity on this whole situation. Mark in Historic Triangle 17:37, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

- Thanks for your support and help with lead. We have a sources issue right now, if you have time to help. I will be offline a couple of hours, but will get back on it as soon as i can. Mark Mark in Historic Triangle
My good article
Thanks, for the congratulations. T Rex | talk 10:01, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
Readding my deleted comments
Hello, I see in this edit, you reinstated a warning I had left a user and then removed because I realised I was mistaken. Maybe in cases like this if you believe my warning was correct, but you see I deleted it, you could add it back in but with your own signature please, as it only causes the user to become unnecessarily aggravated. Jackaranga 08:45, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
- Oh right, sorry, no worries. Jackaranga 21:45, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

I didn't know which one to pick because you have done a lot of good work and not got awarded enough yet.

Comments from Vaoverland
I wanted to say two things. 1. I really like the picture of your good day on your User Page. My life has been wildly fluctuating, and watching our puppy discover waves for the first time (woof woof) and running on the beach at intervals since are the mental memories which warm me up when I need it. 2. I just want ot be one (of hopefully many) to acknowledge that you have done so very much for WP:Virginia. Best wishes. Mark in Historic Triangle 03:39, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
Comment from VirginiaProp
Thanks for your words of encouragement. I hope that I've able to be of some help on WP Virginia. VirginiaProp 02:28, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
More comments from Vaoverland
I have a family member in the hospital, so I currently have much less WP time. We have user adding to J. Sargeant Reynolds almost every day, but the users is apparently to very WP experienced. Perhaps you can keep an eye on it. I also added an article on Tommy Reamon but I am not sure I did the WP Virginia thing on the talk page. Thanks, Mark in Historic Triangle 18:15, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
Realise A Better World
I'm still a bit bewildered as to how the whole thing works. The language is a little difficult. I guess there was something wrong with the information about Realise A Better World(02:58, 21 August 2007 Kubigula (Talk | contribs) deleted "Realise A Better World" (CSD A7 (Group): Article about a club or group that does not assert significance)). You guys have your reasons for everything I'm sure. I'm just wondering how I can get my hands on the text that was typed into it? Sfyork 02:06, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
Thanks
Thanks for reverting edits done by anonymous editors that decided to attack me for reverting their edits. -Freak104 04:06, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
RE:New warning template
No you can finish it and put it up, if you want. Oysterguitarist 14:04, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
Blocks
I belive I listed the blocks for 31 hours and they should have been only 24 hours. I won't object if you decide to lift the blocks. -- 15:50, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you for lifting Oyster's and my blocks early. I understand that the blocks were within policy, but I think that once the fact that the edits we made were in response to vandalism was made clear, the blocks should've been lifted. I also think a warning should've been issued before the blocks. Regardless, what's done is done; I have no hard feelings towards anyone involved. Let's move on, eh? You may want to chime in on the talk page; someone has suggested a renaming which I anticipate your will agree wopuld be ill-advised. BTW, my family member is still in hospital, but encouraging progress. 13:02, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

User Warning Templates
You may wish to rethink the tone of the user warning templates you currently use. I'm sure utmost civility was intended, but they don't imply that. Also, thanks for the heads-up about the sandbox & I will use it the next time I delete profanity. --Solana79 03:10, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for the welcome & I will look into the intropage. The template was sent to an IP talk page, which I can't get back to now that I've registered. It wasn't anything concrete, just a sense of how the wording played. If it helps, it was sent between 8-31 & today. Not a big deal, if you can't easily access it. I think it's a shame people vandalize pages. But it's nifty that people like you take the time to help prevent it from staying that way. Have a good night!--Solana79 03:44, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
No secret handshake?
That's not in the guide book? LOL! Thanks. :) I'm so relieved its over. I consider myself a pretty even-tempered person, but never that less I found that a pretty stressful week! --Moonriddengirl 01:18, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
Yuri Landman
Hello Kubigula, I agree on the COI-problems, I know about it. Currently I don't add any info anymore on these topics, only reliable refs and sources.
You forgot to watch at the sources (not the refs). All sources are reliable. (Lambiek.net, oddmusic.com, modernguitars.com, NPI) I will add info about those media-institutions like I already did with The Dutch Rock & Pop Institute to make the facts for other contributors clearer.
The topic Yuri Landman doesn't need a lot more additions, so I think this COI-problem will solve itself. Hopefully.
Best wishes, YuriLandman 20:25, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
Fred Thompson - semi- instead of full-protection?
I request and recommend that you change the protection to semi-protection instead of full. As best as I can tell, it is only anon editors who are trying to fight the consensus. All of the named editors are simply trying to revert to the consensus. I, for one, would enforce the consensus if it had come out the other way. The anon editors are acting in bad faith and all of the named editors are acting in good faith. Sbowers3 22:06, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
- I think full-protection is overkill. Warring arose because anons were not respecting requests by registered editors to go to Talk. Semi-protection should be sufficient to manage this. --- Taroaldo 23:27, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

Your page doesn't say you're a fan, so my statement stands. :P --tjstrf talk 22:09, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
- I got lucky, college started and I realized my userpage was out of date, and I randomly thought it would be interesting to see if anyone else had linked to it in the mean time.
- Where did you find my userpage from anyway? Looking at your contribs prior to that edit, it doesn't seem like you edited anything that I had worked on, nor the community discussion pages I normally use. --tjstrf talk 23:23, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
NIN revision
I just noticed that you reverted my revert of a deletion of content from the Nine Inch Nails article. It appears from your contribs and the article's history page that you're not usually a contributor to the article. That particular sentence gets deleted about once a month, and it usually gets reverted in a few minutes. For whatever reason I guess people just don't like it. If you check the sources attributed to the quote (two of them), they both clearly show that the quote is in fact correctm including the Fuck Fox Fucking News part. I'm not sure why you undid my revert, but I'd appreciate it if you took a look at the article and the sources and judge for yourself. I think what might be a good idea, since this is a reoccurring problem, is to add a comment of some sort to curb any further vandalism. Thanks! Drewcifer 22:32, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
- Also, the article is currently at FAC, so I'd like to keep it stable, you know? Drewcifer 22:34, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
- No worries. If fighting vandalism means once and a while I genuine edit/revert is messed up, no big deal. Keep up the good work! Drewcifer 04:24, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
