KTEK is a radio station serving the Houston, Texas market. This station broadcasts on 1110 kHz and is a Biz Radio Network O&O station. KTEK broadcasts daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. providing business related news, and daily market reports.
[edit] History
KTEK in the 1990s once featured Vietnamese language programming and was declared the Voice of Vietnam in Houston. Salem Communications then acquired the station for its christian-related programming. Then in December 11, 2007, Biz Radio bought the station as part of breaking away from a lease agreement with Multicultural Broadcasting's KXYZ, making KTEK the first Biz Radio O&O station, however, the signal is much weaker than its previous affiliate KXYZ.
