[edit] CSD tag
I pressed the button on Twinkle and accidentally nudged the mouse wheel at the same time. My bad... -- Roleplayer (talk) 23:01, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] About my edit to Wat Phra Dhammakaya
Hmm. Ok, but in December 2006, the exact same images were removed for copyright violations. In fact, the discussion page of Wat Phra Dhammakaya under Philotai, you can still see the discussion on the images.Suredeath (talk) 02:47, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
I'm kinda assuming that IF the images hosted are news clipping (which they were) and not authorized by the news agency (which there were not), it is copyright violation.Suredeath (talk) 03:28, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
The articles are published apologies from the various newspapers. Would a better solution be to translate a summary of what the content of those newspaper articles say (but in English) while giving the refs to the day and date of the newspapers in question? BTW I didn't upload those scans - but they are valid history Thanissaro (talk) 07:21, 24 March 2008 (UTC)!
Yes, it is debatable whether Thai newspapers are reliable sources (that would make an interesting Wikipedia article in itself) but in this case the articles published were required by law, so they are definitely reliable. Thanissaro (talk) 08:12, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks for the fix
Thanks for the fix on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Philip H. Farber (2nd nomination). I always seem to make mistakes when it's a second or third nom for an article. Cheers, Pigman☿ 00:54, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Taxoboxes and new articles
Hi, KTC;
I'm sorry, but I didn't have a great deal of time lately to just sit down and work. I'll go through shortly and make sure that the taxoboxes and categorization of the new fossil animal articles are up to snuff. J. Spencer (talk) 22:30, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] SOAS
Hey KTC! I'm sure you had good intentions, but a quick search would have revealed that Sufiah Yusof did attend SOAS - it's been all over the news in the last few days. Poeloq (talk) 23:40, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Butler Elementary School (Arlington, Texas)
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Butler Elementary School (Arlington, Texas), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 15:23, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Two articles about the same man
Hallo, there are two articles about David Broome (equestrian). The main one here David Broome and the one someone started in February 2008 David Broome (disambiguation). David Broome (disambiguation) needs to be deleted, as it's the same page just shortened. Thanks - Culnacréann-(talk) 23:28, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Greek museums
Don't worry given the amount of info out there in English there should be enough info all around to ensure most of them are expanded beyond a stub. Once filled out they will make useful additions ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ $1,000,000? 12:02, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Merger proposal
I have proposed a merger of the articles for the three middle schools of the Palo Alto Unified School District into the main article for the district. Discussion is here. I'm notifying everyone who was involved in the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jane Lathrop Stanford Middle School. Thanks, Darkspots (talk) 14:41, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] My RfA
Hi KTC; I wanted to say thank you for supporting my request for adminship, which passed with 100 supports, 0 opposes and 1 neutral. I wanted to get round everybody individually, even though it's considered by some to be spam (which... I suppose it is! but anyway. :)). It means a lot to me that the community has placed its trust in my ability to use the extra buttons, and I only hope I can live up to its expectations. If you need anything, or notice something that bothers you, don't hesitate to let me know. Thanks again, PeterSymonds | talk 22:22, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Blarg(g)
Hi KTC: Thanks for closing the RFD on Blargg. Would you like to close the RFD on Blarg with one g too, as its nomination has been withdrawn, so we can close the whole subject and remove RFD tag from that one too? Thanks! PamD (talk) 20:32, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Your edit to RMS Titanic
Thanks for your interesting edit. I have adjusted it slightly because what you had written reflected accurately the headlines of the source story, but the headlines didn't quite reflect the quotes from Ballard himself. This was not your fault: it was just a "come-on" trick by the paper's subs (sorry for the pun in this context!). All the best. --Old Moonraker (talk) 12:35, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] White House Council on Environmental Quality (WP:AFC)
just wanted to mention that the whitehouse website is most likely not copyrighted, because works created by the u.s. government are generally not protected. that having been said, there are exceptions (for example, work produced by a private contractor and licensed to the Government), and i still think you made the right decision (for NPOV reasons). 69.140.152.55 (talk) 22:15, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
