Keila (German: Kegel) is a town and an urban municipality in Harju County in north-western Estonia. It is also the administrative centre of the surrounding rural municipality – Keila Parish.
Being already a borough and supposedly even a town during Middle Ages, Keila became already a borough and then a town in 1 May 1938.
Keila has a station on the Elektriraudtee rail line.
After the railway to Keila was built, this place became known — as a pun — as Kegelbahn.
