License tagging for Image:SOSM-IL.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:SOSM-IL.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 15:09, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Roevwade.gif
Thank you for uploading Image:Roevwade.gif. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 16:31, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
How to get vandals blocked
- Go to WP:AIV
- Scroll to the bottom of the page
- Click [edit] where it says User-reported
- Follow the instructions in the edit source and save the edit
- An admin should deal with the complaint shortly
Thanks. Ref (chew)(do) 01:57, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
- No problem. I happened to notice that you posted and self-reverted on the subject at one of my watched admins talk pages (watched to protect from vandals, which is appropriate). Rather than perhaps stay in the dark about the process, I thought you would like to become an active vandal-fighter, like I am. I have always found that, if you are absolutely spot-on with the number of warnings you have given to a vandal (generally 4, but less in the case of repeat-after-a-block perpetrators or serial page-blankers), admins deal very quickly with the serious cases. Thanks and good luck. Ref (chew)(do) 23:42, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

WP:AIV
I have removed the report you made to WP:AIV concerning vandalism on Gravesend Grammar School. The user you are referring to, while making edits that tend to be counter to WP:MOS are not vandalism per se. Well meaning but incorrect edits should be dealt with through discussion rather than vandalism reports. Trusilver 02:59, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
RE:Adoption
Yes I am, and of course! There is no requirements for adoption, anyone can request to be adopted, and I am willing. Tiptoety talk 19:58, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
- Great, where are you wanting to start? You can start off quick and move right into creating articles, we can take it a bit slower by going over policies, or you can work on doing some newpage and recent change patrolling (ridding wikipedia of vandals). I am not sure what you are interested in doing here. Tiptoety talk 20:05, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, i notice that you have already been doing a little of that on your own, do you currently use any tools (automated systems) to do your vandal fighting? Tiptoety talk 20:08, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
- Why don't you read up on the blocking policy and the banning policy, then tell me what the difference between the two is, then we can actively get to some vandal fighting! Tiptoety talk 03:00, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button
located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 16:14, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

Hi KC, the article was proposed for deletion, and no one opposed the "prod" for the allotted time, so it was deleted according to the policy I just linked you to. I'd be happy to undelete it if you'd like to work on it, but only on a couple conditions: first, you need to provide references to reliable sources, per the very fundamental verifiability policy. It shouldn't be hard to do. Just link to them on my talk page or something, then I can give you the article and you can work on it in your userspace (that is, any page beginning with User:KC109/... such as User:KC109/Sandbox). The other condition is that you read WP:SCHOOL and try to figure out if this school meets the proposed guideline. See, Wikipedia has requirements about how notable a subject has to be before it can be included, and the general feeling is that elementary schools aren't notable unless there's something special about them. Admittedly, it's just a proposed guideline, not a real one, but it should give you an idea of what you're looking for in terms of notability. The real guidelines would be WP:N or maybe WP:ORG. But really what it comes down to is the sources. If you can provide those, the article will most likely be kept. But you should understand that every single fact in the article needs to be attributable to a reliable source; no original ideas (those that haven't been published before) are allowed in articles. Don't hesitate to leave me a message on my talk page if you have any questions or need anything, I'm always glad to help. Peace, delldot talk 05:27, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

peer review
I was wondering if you could take some time out of your schedule to head over to the Heroes (TV series) talkpage and give us an honest peer review. The page has gone through some major changes in the last few months, and it would be fantastic if a prominent editor/contributor like yourself, could head over and give us at the Heroes Wikiproject some sound opinion and ideas on improvements for the page. We have all worked very hard at improving the page, and we need great outside, reliable and trustworthy users to come over and help us improve. I you are interested in joining the peer review discussion with other prominent users/contributors, much like yourself, please follow the link. Responding to your post on my talk page.
Hi there! The information you are discussing is cited and, as such, I would advise against removing it. Although I am not very well-versed in the subject, I do know that removal of this information is not advisable. Might I suggest a look at Wikipedia:Controversial articles. This should provide you with some suggestions for describing both views of the incident and maintaining wikipedia's Neutral point of view. Happy editing! --omtay38 00:47, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
Hi KC109, I don't recall ever interacting with you and I was quite surprised to see you add an accusatory comment to my talk page. From your edit I take it that you hold a point of view that is sympathetic to the martyrdom of Bernall. My interest in the article is purely academic, I am more interested in the investigation of the incident and the proliferation of Bernall's mother's account in Christian communities and secular media than the moral implication of her alleged statement. It was difficult to accurately represent views described by conflicting sources. Quite a few editors worked on verifying the facts and claims presented in Bernall's article and it currently reflects information supported by personal testimonies, investigative journalism, and official reports of a criminal investigation. It was both a pleasure and a challenge to collaborate with other editors in crafting an accurate and neutral article.
You may not agree with the analyses presented by some of these sources, as a reader you are welcome to dismiss portions of the article or interpret it in any way you see fit. As a Wikipedia editor, you have an obligation to abide by Wikipedia policies - specifically WP:V, WP:RS and WP:NPOV. It was inappropriate for you to blank sourced sections of this article with no prior discussion and it should come as no surprise to you that your edit was reverted. If you take issue with any part of the article, you should bring it up at Talk:Cassie Bernall. Cheers, ˉˉanetode╦╩ 15:51, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
- Hi, I just saw your comment on Tiptoety's page about this section. I think, you should first ask the person who placed the warning, and ask them to give reasoning for their comment, ask them to remove it. But, I've been told that you are allowed to remove warnings from your talk page. I was told that here. And, I see you are on the Counter vandalism unit. Would you agree vandalism is rather high at the moment? Steve Crossin (talk) 02:29, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

A sincere question
Why do you say I was vandalizing ClueBot's page? What I really was doing is just only leaving him a serious message which I expected a soon response as I do with this message I am leaving you. As you can see, I am a pretty unconventional vandal as I will never use profanities in my messages; I will never sink my level to that of a common Wikipedian you know. Finally, I have to say your act was considered very agressive by me as you have eaten meat recently, pretty funny you are a Catholic and it is Friday! ![]()

I'm really glad that there is someone who is comprehensive here. You know, there was a person out there not brave enough and used his/her (I really don't want to know this) bot. Cowardice is just pityful this days. Oh, I almost forgot about the meat! I am like a detective.

- Hahaha! You know? You are a pretty kind person and I congratulate you because you made me since right now a good wikipedian. I will never vandalize any page anymore. But I will continue to denounce all the Islamic crimes as soon as I can.

- I have never agreed the NPOV stuff because of its repressive nature. But as a good wikipedian I am now, I'll follow it. Just remeber the images of horror. And I will not favor any religion, just will crush Islam or any religion within a goverment. Religion must be separated from government. Or else... [2]

- NOTE: This is not my website, is just a blog article that shows the horror of the crescent and star religion. This as a result of my investigations.

RE:
No, when a user removes a warning from their talk page that is not considered vandalism as stated here. When they remove the warning it stands as a sign that they have read the warning. As for misunderstandings, do not continue to revert the users edits who you are in a misunderstanding with (unless it is a clear cut case of vandalism). Instead talk with the user who you are having an issue with, and when all else fails ask for a third party to step in, or report the issue at WP:ANI. I am not finding the warning template that you said was placed on your talk page, did i miss something? Tiptoety talk 02:21, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
