Kaiyuan is a city within Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan province, China. It has a population of more than 200,000. Kaiyuan is home to the Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
Kaiyuan is a middle size city in Yunnan Province of China. It has a population of 299,000. 156,000 are ethnic, including Yi persons, Zhuan persons, Miao persons, and Hui persons.
