Joe DiPenta (born February 25, 1979 in Barrie, Ontario, Canada) is a professional ice hockey defenceman who currently plays with the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League. He grew up in Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia. In the past he has played for Halifax Mooseheads, Boston University, The Philadelphia Phantoms, The Chicago Wolves, The Atlanta Thrashers and The Manitoba Moose.
DiPenta was drafted 61st overall by the Florida Panthers in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft. As of the end of the 2005–06 NHL season, DiPenta has played 75 career NHL games, scoring 3 goals and 7 assists for 10 points. He also won the Stanley Cup in 2007 with the Anaheim Ducks.
