Jason Herter (born October 2, 1970) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman. He was drafted in the first round, eighth overall, of the 1989 NHL Entry Draft by the Vancouver Canucks. He played just one game in the National Hockey League, with the New York Islanders during the 1995–96 season, scoring one assist.
