Isle (Occitan: Isla) is a town and commune, close to Limoges, in the Haute-Vienne département of central-western France.

At the 1999 census, the population was 7,691. Isle is the fourth commune of the department (by population), after Limoges, Saint-Junien and Panazol.
Inhabitants are known as Islois.
