I didn't remove it, but this text seems a little outside NPOV:

Would be nice to see this extended maybe into Missouri or even Tennessee. This would help allivate massive traffic on I-40 for travels northeastward to St. Louis or points north. Since I-69 may eliminate some from the Houston area and south, something out of Dallas/Little Rock needs one too.

The paragraph is a statement of opinion, not a statement of fact. Many Interstate highway pages have this problem, though many address the issue by prefixing such a comment with a phrase like "Some highway mavens would like to see..."

I may post this issue at the Village Pump at some point in the future. Any strong opinions, please post here or on my talk page. --Robertb-dc 21:41, 21 Jan 2004 (UTC)

This paragraph is an opinion... I agree. There is a better way to post this, which sounds unencyclopedic.--Rschen7754

[edit] Shortest?

I wondered why Interstate 66 is not considered the shortest interstate that connects two states. Is it because Washington, D.C. is not a "state," per se? Regardless, it does cross a state line. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 05:16, 25 October 2005 (UTC)
