Ian Axton

Ian Axton[1] is a British television newsreader, who works for ITV Meridian. There is another Ian Axton the Designer.[2]

Axton is the main presenter of Meridian Tonight alongside co-presenter Sangeeta Bhabra in the south-east region of ITV Meridian.

Previously, Axton has also been seen presenting ITV London Tonight and the ITV Morning News, which is broadcast at 5.30 on ITV1.

Before joining ITV Meridian, Ian worked in commercial radio and ran a company which operated a number of stations along the south coast.
