Sangeeta Bhabra

Sangeeta Bhabra is the co-presenter of Meridian Tonight (South East), alongside Ian Axton.

Sangeeta was appointed to the role in January 2007, joining Meridian East from its sister service Thames Valley Tonight, on which she had been a regular presenter and a popular reporter and Travel News presenter. In her latter role her catch phrase "Wherever you go, go safely" proved to be a favourite with the viewers.

Outside of news, Sangeeta is a Bollywood expert and these skills were recently put to good use when she presented special programmes for ITV Yorkshire about the IFA awards in Leeds in 2007.
