Hoani MacDonald is a New Zealand Rugby Union player that plays provincial rugby for Southland, and is in the Super 14 team the Highlanders.
McDonald is being strongly linked with a move to Magners League side the Newport Gwent Dragons, and has admitted holding talks with the Welsh Region [1]
