HMAS Buna (L-132) was a Balikpapan class heavy landing craft built by Walkers Limited at Maryborough in Queensland, launched on 26 September 1972 and commissioned on 7 December 1973. HMAS Buna paid off on 14 November 1974 and was transferred to the Papua-New Guinea Defence Force.
