[edit] Boundaries

Following their review of parliamentary representation in North London, the Boundary Commission for England reduced the number of constituencies in Brent, which had "knock-on" consequences for neighbouring boroughs. The seat of Hampstead and Kilburn is a new creation resulting from these changes.

The electoral wards used in the new constituency are from the boroughs of Brent and Camden and from the current constituencies of Brent East and Hampstead and Highgate.

The notional result at the last General Election was a Labour win, with a close second for the Liberal Democrats.[1]
