Carshalton and Wallington is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. The constituency was created as Sutton Carshalton at the 1974 General Election and was renamed Carshalton and Wallington at the1983 General Election, it retained the same boundaries. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election. It is a marginal seat between the Liberal Democrats and the Conservatives.
