Ham's Station is a restaurant and limited convenience store at State Route 88 in Amador County, California. It is at an elevation of 6,000 feet (1,800 m) and stays open year around. Ham's Station was built in 1880 (or before).
Along with Cooks Station located 3.3 mi (5.3 km) to the west, Ham's Station is one of very few stops on a 60-mile (97 km) stretch of highway 88 between Pioneer, California and State Route 89 junction. During snowy conditions California Department of Transportation routinely refers to Ham's Station (as well as Cooks Station) to describe where on Highway 88 snow chains are required.
