Buckhorn is a small unincorporated community in Amador County, California, United States. The community is in ZIP code 95666 and area code 209.

In the state legislature Buckhorn is located in the 1st Senate District, represented by Republican Dave Cox, and in the 10th Assembly District, represented by Republican Greg Aghazarian. Federally, Buckhorn is located in California's 3rd congressional district, which has a Cook PVI of R +7[1] and is represented by Republican Dan Lungren.
