"Got Money" is the third single from Lil Wayne's sixth studio album, Tha Carter III. The track features artist T-Pain and is produced by Play-n-Skillz. The single was released as a digital download on iTunes on May 27th, 2008, under the name "Got Money",[1] and has thus far peaked at #4 on the iTunes Top 100. The song has peaked at #13 as the Hot Shot debut on the Billboard Hot 100, making it his second highest peaking song in his solo career.

There are a couple of freestyles on the internet. One was done by rapper Yung Joc, and another done by Pitbull (rapper). The official remix that made it to iTunes was with Mack Maine. The remix was the same as the original song with T-Pain's chorus and Lil Wayne's verses. Mack Maine's verse was added in.

The video is currently in production. It is rumored to be released by June 25, 2008.[2]

The song was the "Hot Shot Debut" of the week on the Billboard Hot 100, entering at #13, making it Lil Wayne's highest debut. This also made it his second highest peaking song in his solo career, and his third top twenty hit.It has become his fifth top ten on Hot Rap Tracks, thus far peaking at #10.
