Gopiballavpur also spelled Gopiballavpur (Bengali: গোপিবল্লভপুর ) is a town in Paschim Medinipur district of West Bengal, India. The town is on the banks of the Subarnarekha River near the Bihar and Orissa borders.Earlier this area was a part of Mayurbhanj princly state of Orissa.Major languages spoken in this area are Oriya & Bengali.
