Gulbahar (Dari: گلبهار) is located 76km north the Afghan capital Kabul. Gulbahar is a green lush area with the best mulberry in the country.
This war torn district, which was the battle field between different forces in different eras, is located half in Parwan province and half in Kapisa province.

Wheat, Corn, Mulberry and Red Bean are the main harvests of residents in this area, but due to a shortage of farming land most of the people in Gulbahar rely on small businesses such as shops, truck driving and other type of works.
