Gulbahar (Dari: گلبهار) Gulbahar which is writen as Gulbahar as well, is located 75km North the Afghan capital Kabul. Gulbahar is a green lush area with the best mulberry in the country.
This war torn district, which was the battle field between different forces in different eras, is located half in Parwan province and half in Kapisa province.

Golbahar is a persian name for girls. It means "Rose of spring" which is a name of a flower(primula). This flower grows in ealry spring in the mountains.
