[edit] Your message

  1. Read WP:CIVIL.
  2. Your message made little sense; you can obviously edit despite the IP being blocked. --Mel Etitis (Talk) 09:10, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

I was simply responding to the dude who said his IP was bannend and all he ever did was log on for research and never did any editing, all I said was "aint that some shit", meaning, can't see why they did that. GmanIV 11:04, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your help requested

Hi, we could use your help at Texas hold 'em, we are trying to bring this article to featured article status. --Ideogram 09:15, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for your invite on the Texas Holdem article, seems a huge under taking, so much not listed, "Cooler hands", "Straddles" and so on. Say why all the beef on the Poker Mustang article? It's a site and I see no reason to exclude it, it does exist, be it #1 ranked poker site or not, still encyclodedia material. GmanIV 11:02, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
Hi, conversation really belongs on talk pages, my user page is not for that. The good thing about Wikipedia is we can work together on articles to share the load. The article is already close to Featured Article status, we don't need to include every detail since it doesn't have to be very long. We just need to cover the most important concepts that people new to Hold 'em should know.
It's hard to explain why the Poker Mustang article probably doesn't belong here. I hope you understand that Wikipedia can't just include articles on every site in the world, we aren't here to provide a free advertising service. Even if you didn't own the site, there are standards we need to follow, you can read about them at WP:V, WP:NPOV, WP:RS and so on.
Since you obviously know a lot about poker, I would recommend you try to work together with other people at WP:POKER for a while before creating new articles. This will give you a chance to learn how things work around here.
You can reply here, I'll watch this page. --Ideogram 11:17, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

so what the is your user page for then? It's not like anyone see it, plus you can delete any posts.

I have a user page, and a user talk page. The user page is generally for the user themselves to define, such as by telling a little bit about themselves, as you have done. The user talk page is where conversation goes, it looks like you got the two confused. --Ideogram 11:30, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Please take a break

I think you really need to slow down with the comments on the deletion discussion page. You aren't helping yourself by getting angry. --Ideogram 11:24, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

Vandalism was not my intention at all, my bad, I thought it was the talk page to talk and leave comments, I was wrong. GmanIV 12:03, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

Come on, it's just like playing poker. Don't go on tilt, just play the game. --Ideogram 11:34, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

Hey now I like that comment! Thats a "all in" home run!GmanIV 11:35, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

well it was MY Talk page, but I have since taken the stuff down and will chill out. GmanIV 11:58, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Please slow down

Everybody, can we just sleep on it? He's obviously upset, further pressing him isn't going to help. --Ideogram 11:50, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

Im amazed I cannot even delete peoples comments from my talk page....wow, I was gonna make it clean and just start all over on a fresh slate, oh well. GmanIV 11:56, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

No no, there is some disagreement on that point. I personally feel you should be able to, I'm trying to talk to the guy who prevented that right now. --Ideogram 11:57, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Archiving

I can archive the old contents for you if you like, hopefully that will satisfy everyone concerned. --Ideogram 12:04, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
