Giovanni Federico (born October 4, 1980 in Hagen, Germany) is an Italian-German football player who currently plays for Borussia Dortmund.
Federico agreed to join Borussia Dortmund from Karlsruher SC for 2007-08 on a Bosman transfer on March 7, 2007, after an highly successful season, individually (top goalscorer with 19 goals) and collectively (his team achieved promotion with the first place in 2. Bundesliga).
