[edit] Notability

Rabbi Gershon Weisenfeld was one of the very prominent Rabbis in the Jewish Orthodox World. He was the founder of several Yeshivot and very respectable scholar.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Jessas (talkcontribs)

  • You should add a sentence that says just that. You should also explain what the Yeshiva Gedolah of Passaic is. Please read WP:BIO and do what you can to provide references to support his notability. Thank you GtstrickyTalk or C 17:30, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

I provided a source, which mentions that he was a founder of one of the very important Yeshivot in USA. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jessas (talkcontribs) 17:27, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

You still need more context, and better sources, for those of us (like myself) with a goyische kopf. Imagine you're trying to put this into context for an English-speaking Hindu in northern Bengal who has never met a Jew, and has no idea what a Yeshiva is.--Orange Mike | Talk 17:59, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
