[edit] Gen¹³

Shouldn't the article be named Gen¹³? Gen13 and Gen 13 can still be redirected there.

  • I really don't see the point of that. --Strannik 02:31, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
    • If it's technically feasible, this should be done, as its the series' proper name. --Tuberculosisness 05:57, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
I got bored, so i did it. *and* changed all the redirects (which took forever):/Exvicious 23:18, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

I'm not really sure if this is the place to post this - I'm rather new at the whole wikipedia editing thing, though an ardent enjoyer of it. Anyway, some of the characters listed in the right sidebar as Gen13 members are really either Gen12 members (Lynch) or DV8 members. (Copycat, Sublime, Evo) Admittedly I have not read the complete series, so if my memory is betraying my lack of experience, by all means, keep it up. --Jabberwocky

[edit] Top Importance?

why? i mean no offense but i have not even heard of this team.Phoenix741 21:15, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

Seconded. I've amended it to 'mid' - there were a number of successful Wildstorm/image titles based around the team, plus at least one spin-off. But they're definitely not 'top' importance. --Mrph 22:58, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

More material has been published for Gen 13 then any other title within the wildstorm universe, hence the top importance. -Bloody Sacha 5/22/2007

However, the scale regards WikiProject: Comics, not WikiProject: Wildstorm. -- AvatarMN (talk) 02:32, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Huh?

What's this stuff about Gen13 carrying a content warning? I never saw that on any issue I bought and I have them all.

[edit] More Information About the Gen 13 Movie

Though I may make some edits now, I figured it couldn't hurt to request that someone beat me to it and make some additions to the section on the Gen 13 animated movie. A bit hypocritical of me to request it but not write everything I'd like to see myself, but I'm such a procrastinator I don't know when I'd get around to adding all that I could. For now, I'd say it could use a list of the cast, a mention of the character designs (the Batman: The Animated Series look rather than the anime-like look of JSC's art), a mention of the controversy regarding the content (the violence and an infamous shower scene), and more about the studio politics that lead to the dumping of the film with Disney's non-American distribution. Conceivably enough content might justify a separate article, but this would require considerable length before it reached that point. I'll try to pick at it over time, but if anyone else wants to add more, have at it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 4.254.116.193 (talk) 00:12, 18 February 2007 (UTC).

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Gen13shot.jpg

Image:Gen13shot.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 10:06, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Collected Editions

The write ups contain things like "WildStorm is proud to present more pop culture insanity, more drama, more humor… but sorry, no ferrets." which suggests to me this has been lifted from some kin of press release. Even if it skirts the grey area of copy violation it is unencyclopedic. I'll leave it to someone else but I suspect it all needs stripping back and rewriting. (Emperor 23:22, 11 June 2007 (UTC))
