Deutsch: James Wolfe (* 2. Januar 1727 in Westerham, Kent; † 13. September 1759) britischer General, bedeutend durch seine Rolle bei der Eroberung Kanadas durch Großbritannien.
  • London: Printed for Eliz. Bakewell & Hen. Parker, Birchin Lane, Cornhill, circa 1776. Mezzotint. Printed on laid paper with a watermark of a shield surmounted by a fleur-de-lys.
  • Inscription: "Major General Wolfe. Who, at the Expence of his Life, purchas'd immortal Honour for his Country... By the Reduction of Quebec, Septr. 13th 1759"
