Thanks for the help!
Thanks for the help with the proofreading and copyediting of the Brian Adams bio.

- Thanks again for the help on this article. It seems I miss stupid little stuff when I work on an article myself, I'm glad you are able to find those things. I don't know if the adequate sources can be found to get this article to a GA, but I'm still trying, and your help has been very valuable! - T-75|talk|contribs 05:03, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
The Brian Adams Links You Found
Thanks for finding those! I hadn't seen the first two, but had seen the third one. The third one would be considered a primary source, which seems to be highly frowned upon in wrestling articles even when there are secondary sources (but it's ok with other articles). Because it was a primary source I didn't reference to it (though I probably should), but I did use it for filler info that is not likely to be challenged. I'll look over those other two articles when I get a chance and see if we can use them for references and/or more content. - T-75|talk|contribs 17:19, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
Khali reversals
You may have found it the same way, but in case not, someone linked to show off a vandalism on the wrestlecrap.com forums - great job on reversing, I would expect many more for a little while —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fabero74 (talk • contribs) 03:25, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
Shane McMahon
Would you be interested in helping me expand Shane McMahon's article so we can get it to GA status? -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 22:41, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
- Oh no. I was actually adding and editing some stuff and then I tried to submit it and I had an edit conflict and I copied the entire article and pasted it. I did however mean to re-write your edits but I got carried away with something. SORRY. -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 20:38, 15 September 2007 (UTC)

December to Dismember (2006)
Would you mind having a look over December to Dismember (2006), as the article is currently up for peer review. I'd be grateful for any thoughts you might have on the article, and that you leave your thoughts on the article here. Many thanks in advance, Davnel03 18:35, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
- Many, many thanks for that! I've addressed your comments on the PR page and have addressed the article as necessary. Please feel free to add anything to the comments on the peer review page. Again, thanks. Davnel03 14:57, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

- You might as well take a chance and have a go. There doesn't seem to be many people editing the page, so its not like as if you're going to get any vandalism on it. I say you work in the mainspace; use the underconstruction tag while you're editing so no one makes major, drastic changes. If you want, I'll try and find some sources for you. Actually, I have a WWE quiz book and there's a whole section on SummerSlam, that might help you. Davnel03 16:33, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
- Looks good so far. I made one or two minor adjustments to the article, so hope you don't mind. Also, I suggest removing the "Other on-screen talent" section and "Notes" section as you will probably be integregating that into the main body later. Anyway, half of that is probably cruft, and not notable. Well done so far! Davnel03 17:40, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
- I've put together some references out of my "The Ultimate World Wrestling Entertainment Trivia Book" which concern SummerSlam (1993), which are located in my sandbox if you wish to use them. Most of them should be useful; I believe its always better to over-ref than under-ref. Davnel03 18:06, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
- These three references might be useful [1][2][3] Davnel03 15:42, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
- Also, I've finished the ONS '06 background section if you wish to take a look. Davnel03 16:17, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
- 1 equals big font (well normal I guess) and 4 equals very small. 4 would be used in an article with probably over 100 references I'd say. I tend to use 3. I don't know why. I just do. Davnel03 20:02, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
- You've done a SUPERB job with SummerSlam '93! Well done! If you wish, I'll give the article a copy-edit for you. Do you mind if I give it a copy-edit? Davnel03 16:38, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, you could include the info about the buyrate, possibly in the aftermath section e.g. "The event had a........". The note if I'm to be honest isn't needed, and should be removed. It doesn't really add anything to the article in terms of quality. Davnel03 16:49, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
- If I'm to be honest, I hate the "Other on-screen talent part", and I think it really shouldn't be in PPV articles. In my view, its cruft. I've got away with not inserting it into the December to Dismember (2006) article, so I think you should remove. Like I mentioned earlier, it doesn't add anything to the article in terms of quality. Of course you don't have to do that, but that's my own opinion. Davnel03 16:53, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

- I've finished with One Night Stand (2006) (apart from adding a little in the aftermath), so I was wondering if you could give it a copy-edit when you've got a minute. Much appreciated if you could do that. On a side note, great work on SummerSlam (1993), hopefully you can get it to GA status. I myself have nominated D2D 2006 for GA status, so I now anxiously await what the reviewer has to say. :) Davnel03 13:22, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
RE:SummerSlam
The article looks pretty good to me. I corrected a couple of spelling errors, but that's really all that I can do. I'm really not a copyeditor. I'm more of a behind the scenes type of person. Sorry that I can't be of more help. The people responding in the peer review are good at this type of thing, however, so if you take their advice you should be very successful. Al Costello
Thanks for the input, I'll work it all into the article - as for sources, as far as I know everything in there is covered by a source, if there isn't a citation for several sentences then it's because the citation at the end covers it all. I can easily find sources for the info box since I got all or at least most of that information from one of the books I cite a lot so that's no problem. Thanks for the input. FL Main page proposal
You nominated a current WP:FLC. As such, you are the type of editor whose opinion I am soliciting. We now have over 400 featured lists and seem to be promoting in excess of 30 per month of late (41 in August and 42 in September). When Today's featured article (TFA) started (2004-02-22), they only had about 200 featured articles and were barely promoting 20 new ones per month. I think the quality of featured lists is at least as good as the quality of featured articles was when they started appearing on the main page. Thus, I am ready to open debate on a proposal to institute a List of the Day on the main page with nominations starting November 1, 2007, voting starting December 1, 2007 and main page appearances starting January 1, 2008. For brevity, the proposal page does not discuss the details of eventual main page content, but since the work has already been done, you should consider this proposal assuming the eventual main page will resemble either an excerpted list format or an abbreviated text format. The proposal page does not debate whether starting with weekly list main page entries would be better than daily entries. However, I suspect persons in favor of weekly lists are really voicing opinions against lists on the main page since neither TFA nor Picture of the day started as weekly endeavors, to the best of my knowledge. Right now debate seems to be among support for the current selective democratic/consensus based proposal, a selective dictatorial approach like that used at WP:TFA or a non-selective first in line/calendar approach like that used at WP:POTD. See the List of the Day proposal and comment at WP:LOTDP and its talk page.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/tcfkaWCDbwincowtchatlotpsoplrttaDCLaM) 16:25, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
FL close
As you nominated List of WCW World Heavyweight Champions for FL status, closing the nomination yourself is a conflict of interest that should have been performed by another editor. Given, consensus was indeed present for promotion, and good faith can be assumed, but in the future, allow another editor to close the nomination. I know that it's a pain to wait for a nomination you know is going to be promoted to be promoted, but have patience in the future. Regards, Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 02:43, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
- Plus, it hadn't been 10 days yet. -- Scorpion0422 02:44, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah. You can simply undo your last three edits to WP:FLC, the featured list log, and adding the closure box. Just wait until the ten day mark passes. I'm sure it will be promoted though. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 02:46, 19 October 2007 (UTC)

Don Kent
First of all thanks for helping out - generally speaking everything in the article is sourced so if a citation is placed after 3-4 sentences then it's 99% sure that it covers everything in it. And yes at not as, that's just me not checking for typos ;) MPJ-DK 04:50, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
- You've raised some good questions, I'll go through the specific sections and make sure all the names are correct and what not, I can see where it might get confusing. And thank you for all your input it's very much appreciated, lemme know if I can return the favor. MPJ-DK 06:05, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
I've fixed what needs fixin' just one thing regarding your comment :One more thing for now: near the end of the Working Alone paragraph, you say that Kent beat Colon but then lost the title. What title did he win from Colon? It's not mentioned in the article.. I think you're referring to Kent and Costello's run as WWC tag team champions that they lost to Colon & someone? it's the only time COlon's name is mentioned and to me it makes sense, but I may be mistaken. Meh. Doesn't matter if you didn't have enough time to have a look at it. Regarding the RVD thing, that part did look seriously in-universe. I've changed it to your version. Thanks! Davnel03 07:48, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
- I also think that you should bring RR 1994 into the mainspace now. It looks a solid article, and if you decide to move it into the mainspace, other people will be able to add references, make changes etc. Good article, well done! Davnel03 09:15, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you! :) Quick note on Royal Rumble (1994). I would try and integregate the "Notes" section into the main body, as when it comes to GAC, the reviewer would fail it, as they would probably consider it a "Trivia"-like section, which are discouraged under Wikipedia guidlines. Looks good! Davnel03 14:14, 25 October 2007 (UTC)

LOTD proposal
You have nominated a recently successful WP:FL. There have been two recent proposals to begin a List of the Day feature on the main page, which have both received majorities but have not been approved as overwhelming support sufficient to change the main page. WP:LOTDP is a new proposal to try to get the ball rolling based on the original proposal. You can voice your thoughts on its talk page. Basically, what the proposal entails is attempting to run an official trial, and then vote after the trial run on whether to change the main page. Support to run a trial requires much less consensus than support to change the main page. Should we succeed at eventually getting such a feature on the main page it would tentatively look like this. Whether or not you support an experimental trial or not you should come discuss the matter at WP:LOTDP's talk page. I apologize if you have either already voiced your opinion on this matter or already tired of hearing about it.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/tcfkaWCDbwincowtchatlotpsoplrttaDCLaM) 21:31, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

The Pro Wrestling Collaboration of the Week for November 11 - November 17 is World Wrestling Entertainment. Please help to improve it to match the quality of an ideal Wikipedia professional wrestling related article. The next article for collaboration will be chosen on Sunday, November 18. From the Editor
Welcome to the inaugural edition of the WikiProject Professional wrestling newsletter! I hope this will be a good source of news to those people interested in what's happening around our pro wrestlimg community. I plan to release it every Sunday. This newsletter will just be a way to get the community announcements to people who don't have the time to check the mesageboards, as well that to those just curious about the news. The newsleter will consist of a project news section (to do with what's happening on Wikipedia), and a current events section (relating to news in the "real world"). The newslette will also contain the Collaboration of the Week announcement. That's all. If you have any feedback or suggestions, please post them at this talk page. King of the Ring (1994) sourcing
I don't know if you are familiar with Google Books, but it is a good way to introduce book sources to articles instead of relying on web pages all the time. I went ahead and performed the search for KOTR 1994 (you can see it here). Just click on the book, and you can search through it to cite information as needed. Use the Template:cite book. This should help you source all of your articles, but be careful...some books have limited previews, so you may not be able to use a particular book after awhile. Nikki311 21:50, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

Hi Im Truco9311, or in reality Kevin, and I proposed to split the WWE Brand Extension article into the WWE Brand Extension and WWE Draft, and I need at least 7-10 signatures so I can start splitting them. If you may, join the discussion here--TrUcO9311 (talk) 23:30, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
My Talk
Thank you for your kind note on "threats". To tell you the truth my beef is to do with the notability of sports people in general rather than just PW in particular. My view is that the criteria is far too wide. That said some PW people are notable but probably not all of them but obviously I am not entirely up to speed on who in PW really is. I also have a problem with the style of much of the content on some of the PW pages which is to say the least "over the top" and the turgid length of some of them. But that's why we try to reach consensus on articles rather than have arbitrary decisions made one way or the other. In any event my opinion on anything here is worth more or less what anybody else's is - about $0.02. Albatross2147 22:56, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
- Some questions:
-
- - looking at the financial results for WWE it would seem that PW is not wildly popular with cable sales being in the low hundred thousands for shows and attendance being around 6000. I've noticed that WWE no longer seem to be offering anything on cable in Australia - or at least only very infrequently. What would you say the outlook is?
- - some of the articles in the PW Project seem to duplicate material elsewhere on the web. Therefore is the excruciating detail we see in sentences in World Wrestling Entertainment such as Roddy Piper was brought in, as well as Jesse Ventura (although Ventura rarely wrestled in the WWF at that point due to the lung disorder that caused his retirement, moving to the commentator booth alongside Gorilla Monsoon). André the Giant, Jimmy Snuka, Don Muraco, Paul Orndorff, Greg Valentine, Ricky Steamboat and the Iron Sheik rounded out the roster. really necessary?
Thanks Albatross2147 23:26, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
Featured List of the Day Experiment
There have been a series of proposals to initiate a Featured List of the Day on the main page. Numerous proposals have been put forth. After the third one failed, I audited all WP:FL's in order to begin an experiment in my own user space that will hopefully get it going. Today, it commences at WP:LOTD. Afterwards I created my experimental page, a new proposal was set forth to do a featured list that is strikingly similar to my own which is to do a user page experimental featured list, but no format has been confirmed and mechanism set in place. I continue to be willing to do the experiment myself and with this posting it commences. Please submit any list that you would like to have considered for list of the day in the month of January 2008 by the end of this month to WP:LOTD and its subpages. You may submit multiple lists for consideration.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:LOTD) 02:45, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
Bobby Eaton
Thanks for the reminder about the Bobby Eaton FAC. I've taken another look at the article and changed my vote to neutral. You've done a good job on it -- it's worlds better from the first time I looked at it (I think in Peer Review months ago). Good luck! Karanacs (talk) 15:26, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
GA Reviews
My comments about GA reviews, it had nothing to do with your comments or anyone in WP:PW as such - more the "vote stacking" comments and all that stuff, I figured it'd be easier and not reflect badly on the project. MPJ-DK (talk) 07:33, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
In Your House 1
You said on the WP:PW talkpage that it would be worth mentioning that WWE started off the IYH PPVs to get more revenue and stuff as they were cheaper. I've sort of found a source to back that up - [4] - only problem is that its from 411mania. It's outlined in the first three paragraphs of the link In the form I'm using 411mania its mainly columns which do help the article. In my view, 411mania is a reliable source to use - its not exactly a dirtsheet. On a side note, someone at the IYH 1 FAC is questioning several sources, including The Other Arena source, which you have used from time to time. Anyway, can I insert the above source into the article? Cheers, Davnel03 16:58, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
- I'll probably just put a little at the start of the Background section stating that the monthly PPV's were started as "cheap" PPV's, and help build up revenue. Thanks, Davnel03 17:01, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- Is this OK? (first few lines). Davnel03 17:24, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- According to [5], they were promoted at $14.95:
- QUOTE : Diesel/Sid. New nickname for the champ: "His Coolness". Razor+Kid/JJ+Roadie. Talk about your baptisms by fire for the fourth member of this matchup. Bret Hart/Hakushi. Quite a feud for two people without a common tongue, or a translator, apparently. More? Just what do you want for $14.95? Oh, there's the house thingy, but we've already done that to death.
- So it probably started off at 14.95 then went to 19.95 to compete with WCW. I've made a slight change to the article to go with the source. Davnel03 18:15, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- I've at last found something to do with the "racism thing"! I've included it at the start of the Hart/Hakushi paragraph, see here (2nd paragraph down). I've included a quote in the ref too. It might need a slight rewording too. Could you possibly change your opinion now at the FAC now that I've found that? :) Davnel03 10:43, 2 December 2007 (UTC)

royal rumble aticle
I have been trying to familiarise myself with the subject at hand and I am close to completing the review. I managed to get hold of a copy of the 1994 Royal Rumble and the content of the artile appears to be factually accurate.--Lucy-marie (talk) 12:14, 6 December 2007 (UTC)

The WikiProject Professional wrestling newsletter is starting up an interview segment that has been in the works for some time now. The current schedule for interviews can be seen here. If you would like to submit a question for an interviewee, please do so by following the instructions here. We are accepting questions for any future interviews. If you would like to sign up to be interviewed, then you may do so here. We hope that this segment will be one of the most popular this project's newsletter has to offer, and promote a greater sense of community amongst the project members. The first interview will be published in next week's issue, and will be with TJ Spyke. In other matters, we are still running low on current events. If you know of any in the wrestling world that you believe merit mention in the newsletter, or wish to comment on any other aspect of the newsletter, then please contact us here. Thanks everyone, and enjoy the holiday season.

Happy New Year!
The Chronic has given you a bottle of Cristal! Cristal costs $350, and hopefully this bottle has made your New Year's Day better. Spread the spirit of the New Year by giving a bottle of Cristal to someone else, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend. Happy editing!

Re:Jake Roberts Dispute
I appreciate it, thanks. This reminds of the time an editor kept adding stuff to Shad Gaspard's article and claimed to be Shad himself. Gavyn Sykes (talk) 18:22, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
RE: Super J Cup
I raised the article to a Start. I've honestly never worked with that kind of table format before, so I'm not quite sure how to best put in the sources. As for original research and point of view, my rule of thumb is to either try to reword, and if that's impossible, just remove it. It can always be added back at a later date. Great work on improving so many stubs, by the way. Nikki311 05:11, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

WP:LOTD
In the last month, you have created a new WP:FL. From what I can tell, you are a veteran and have produced others in the past. Congratulations! You may be aware of WP:LOTD and have probably heard from me in prior months. We are experimenting with selecting Lists of the Day so similar to the current WP:TFA and WP:POTD features that run on the main page. I am invite those who have created new FLs in the last month to participate.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTD) 22:08, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
- I apologize if you don't want to be notified. I will attempt to not contact you in future months. Nonetheless, you should come by and see how the experiment is progressing.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTD) 22:13, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
- My userpage is not really relevant to a discussion of WP:LOTD and neither is claiming credit. However, you are free to have differences with me and to not participate in anything I invite you to. Good luck with your WP:GAC?--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTD) 22:26, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
Pro Wrestling
For the record, I have nothing against pro wrestling. I've even been known to watch it on occasion. My objections are to references to it being inserted into Wikipedia articles that really have nothing to do with wrestling. Otherwise, it is as relevant to this project as any other high-profile pop culture subject. Paul Harald Kaspar (talk) 20:11, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
KOTR
Some things happened on June 19th and others happened as early as April. Does the lead make this clear? I am a bit confused myself. Help me and the non wrestling readers.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTD) 23:51, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
- Now the lead is aesthetically imbalanced. Half of it is in the first paragraph. Can you beef up the final para? If I am understanding this correctly he won three matches on the same pay-per-view telecast although the three matches occurred at different times. Can you make this clearer. A lot of people only read the lead of an article.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTD) 00:05, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for your help...

KOTR as a GA
I've just read the King of the Ring (1994) article and seen that it's a GA article and from what I can see you're one of the driving forces behind improving the article. I hate to say this but I don't agree that it's a Good Article, the lead is totally unsourced and it has severe "In universe" issues, I don't want to raise a stink and get it delisted or what not since it's just been listed, I just wanted you to be aware of the issues that I see with this article and hopefully improve them pretty easily. UWF titles
I think it is a good idea, too. I doubt anyone would oppose. Actually, when I got some more time, I was planning to do something very similar. You're doing great work with all the stubs. I've been trying to help out as much as possible, but I've had a trillion things to do lately. Nikki311 03:44, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
