Are you sure that Gary Johnson has announced?!? hes in love with a stripper Last I heard he was leaning againsta neaked one. If he had been serious about running, he would have pardoned all the non-violent prisoners of the War on Drugs from New Mexico prisons. When his term as governor expired without having issued the pardons, it was reasonably clear that he wasn't running though, officially, as far as I know he's still considering.
He has stated that he did not issue pardons due to his belief that the role of the executive is to enforce laws and influence policy, not to circumnavigate the will of the popularly-elected legislature of the state. Youngamerican 20:05, 19 July 2005 (UTC)
